Ending the Cycle of Fake News in Canadian Healthcare

In March 2017, Canada Health Infoway launched a Myth Busting Campaign in response to a number of incorrect facts and assumptions that were pervasive in the industry about the benefits and utility of digital health.  Over 17 weeks, 17 commonly held beliefs, were ‘busted’ using real and recent Canadian data.  The question remains: why do these myths persist? Join the discussion as we review the myths and present different perspectives about how they are generated, why they persist and what we can do about them.
